Managing agency clients

Search and filter your client list, open a client drill-in, provision a new client org, and understand what agency staff can and cannot see.

Step 1: Open the clients list

Go to `/dashboard/agency/clients`.

You see only organisations your agency manages (`managing_agency_id` points at your partner agency). You never see another agency’s clients.

Use search and the status filter (all / active / suspended) to find a client. Each row shows useful health cues such as open locations and reply backlog where available.

Step 2: Open a client drill-in

Click a client to open `/dashboard/agency/clients/[orgId]`.

The drill-in summarises that client’s connections, users, locations, and health so you can triage before diving into day-to-day modules.

From the list you can also Work on this client — that selects the org in the shared header context and takes you into the normal client dashboard (for example Locations).

Step 3: Provision a new client (when available)

Agency admins can open `/dashboard/agency/clients/new` (Add client) to create a new client organisation under your agency.

  1. Enter the client’s business details carefully — this becomes their org record.
  2. Confirm creation. Duplicate or conflicting names may be rejected (conflict responses).
  3. After create, connect channels while that client is selected in the header switcher (Google / Meta / etc.).

Connecting Google or Meta on the wrong org attaches pages to the wrong tenant. ProfilePilot does not steal pages already owned by another org — a “0 / N in token” Meta result usually means pages are already claimed elsewhere, not a broken token.

Step 4: What staff can and cannot see

Can

  • See clients inside their client scope (or all clients if scope is empty)
  • Work in Reputation, Locations, Social Inbox, Reports, and other modules the client org is entitled to
  • Connect integrations for a selected client when they have access

Cannot

  • See other agencies’ clients
  • Reach Team, Branding, or Billing as Agency Staff (Agency Admin only)
  • Bypass product walls on a client that has not purchased Insights, WhatsApp, etc. (admins on the platform side may still bypass; partner staff follow client entitlements)

Client end-users keep their own logins. Agency users are not automatic members of every client org — access is via the agency membership + scope path.

Quick Tasks

  • Open /dashboard/agency/clients
  • Search or filter by status
  • Use Work on this client to enter the client dashboard
  • Add a client from /dashboard/agency/clients/new when entitled
