Combined Report PDF Export
Export Executive Summary, Location Performance, and Reputation Health as a single merged PDF.
Where to find it: Navigate to Reports in the left sidebar. The Reports index page has a "Combined Report PDF" card at the top — above the individual report cards.
What it includes: The combined PDF merges three reports in order: (1) Executive Summary with KPIs and AI narrative insights, (2) Location Performance with the full per-location metrics table, (3) Reputation Health with ratings, response rates, and sentiment breakdown.
How to use it:
• Set the Start Date and End Date for the reporting period (defaults to the last 30 days)
• Click Export Combined PDF
• The button shows "Generating…" while all three reports are fetched and merged — this may take 30–90 seconds for large accounts
• The PDF downloads automatically with a filename like `2026-03-01_2026-03-31_Totalsports_20260401-120000.pdf`
Partial reports: If one section times out (common for Executive Summary on accounts with 100+ locations), the PDF will still download with the available sections.
Background completion emails: When using background generation, completion emails now explain status in plain language and include a direct download link. Partial emails also explain that completed sections are included and how to retry for a complete file.
Account filtering: Leave the account selector at default to include all accounts, or select a specific account to scope all three sections to that account.
Whitelabel branding: The combined PDF respects your agency branding — logo and primary colour are applied across all pages.
Best Practices:
• Use the date pickers to match your reporting period (e.g., first and last day of a specific month)
• Share the single PDF with clients instead of sending three separate files
• For very large accounts (300+ locations), the Location Performance section may take the longest — allow up to 2 minutes
• If the download fails, the app now returns clearer error details for troubleshooting instead of generic parse failures
• CSV and PDF export endpoints now validate upstream response types so XML/HTML gateway responses are reported clearly instead of JSON parse errors
• Executive export failures now include a trace ID so support can correlate Vercel logs across PDF, totals, and narrative routes quickly
• Executive PDF export now uses a lightweight executive data path for large ranges, reducing timeout risk while still preserving core KPI totals and review counts
• Executive PDF export now retries transient 503/504 gateway failures and can fail over between primary and fallback domains before returning an error
• For large exports, lightweight executive mode may omit heavy reply-time calculations to prioritize completion and preserve core KPIs
• For large account month-range exports, narrative is skipped by default to improve completion reliability (you can force it with narrative=1)
• If the download times out entirely, try running individual report PDFs instead
