Managing Bulk Posts & Content

Consistency is the foundation of local SEO. The Posts & Content module is designed to help agencies and multi-location brands scale their content distribution. Instead of logging into dozens of individual social accounts, you can create, schedule, and bulk-publish content across Google Business Profile (GBP), Facebook, and Instagram simultaneously.

Using the Smart Post Wizard

Navigate to Dashboard → Posts to access the centralized Posts list and the embedded Smart Post Wizard.

You do not need to navigate to a separate tool to create content; the 5-step Smart Post Wizard lives directly on your Posts dashboard.

Step 1: Basics & Targeting Select your Post Type (Standard, Event, or Offer) and choose your target platforms (Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram). Next, define your distribution scale:

  • All Brand Listings: Broadcast the post to every location within your organization.

  • Filter by Account / Geography: Narrow the distribution to a specific brand account, country, state, or region.

  • Specific Listing IDs: Manually hand-pick individual locations for hyper-local updates.

Step 2: Content & AI Generation You can write your post manually, or use the built-in AI assistant to speed up your workflow. Simply enter a topic or brief and click Generate Draft. The AI will create engaging copy complete with relevant hashtags, which you can freely edit and refine to match your brand voice.

Step 3: Media Upload your images or videos (multiple files are supported).

  • Note for GBP: Google Business Profile strictly requires images to be a minimum of 250×250 pixels. The wizard will automatically warn you if your uploaded image is too small to prevent publishing errors.

Step 4: Schedule, CTAs & Tracking

  • Timing: Choose to Publish Now or Schedule the post for a future date and time.

  • Events & Offers: If you selected an Event post, set your start/end times. If you selected an Offer post, define the redemption period, coupon code, offer link, and terms.

  • Call-to-Action (CTA): Add a CTA button (e.g., Book, Order, Shop, Learn More, Sign Up, Call). You can attach a destination URL and UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) for precise tracking. (Note: CTA buttons are only supported on Google Business Profile; Facebook and Instagram will ignore this selection).

Step 5: Review & Submit Preview your post summary—including platforms, schedule, CTA, targets, and content—and click Create Post to save or schedule it.

Managing Your Content Schedule

Below the wizard, you will find your complete content management interface.

The Posts List View

Use the robust filter bar to easily track down specific content. You can filter by:

  • Platform: Google Business Profile, Facebook, or Instagram.

  • Post Type: Standard, Event, or Offer.

  • Date Range: Use the From/To date pickers.

  • Status: Draft, Scheduled, Publishing, Published, or Failed. From this list, you can edit drafts, manually trigger publishing, or delete obsolete posts.

The Calendar View

Navigate to Dashboard → Posts → Calendar for a macro-level visual of your content strategy.

  • View all scheduled posts organized in a standard monthly calendar layout.

  • Timezone Selector: Ensure your content is firing at the right local time. Choose from a list of common timezones (UTC, US zones, Europe/London, Africa/Johannesburg, etc.). Your browser will remember this selection via a cookie for your next session.

Understanding the Post Lifecycle

As your content moves through the system, it will display one of five statuses:

  • Draft: Created and saved, but not yet scheduled or published.

  • Scheduled: Locked in with a future date; the system will publish this automatically.

  • Publishing: A temporary state indicating the content is actively being sent to the platform APIs.

  • Published: Successfully pushed to all selected platforms.

  • Failed: The platform rejected the post. Open the post card to read the specific error message (e.g., image too small, authentication expired) so you can fix and republish.

Important Platform Notes

  • Google Post Analytics: Please note that Google Business Profile no longer provides post performance metrics (impressions, clicks, etc.) via their API. To track engagement, always append UTM parameters to your CTA links in Step 4.

  • Platform Limitations: Remember that CTA buttons will only render on Google Business Profile.

Best Practices & Use Cases

  • Use the Right Post Type: Do not use Standard posts for sales. Use Events for time-sensitive announcements (grand openings, holiday hours) and Offers for promotions requiring specific redemption codes or expiration dates.

  • Segment Geographically: When a promotion is only valid in a specific region, use the region filter in Step 1 rather than blasting the post to your entire global network.

  • Optimize for Discovery: Always include 4 to 6 relevant local hashtags in your copy to increase local search discoverability.

  • Leverage the Calendar: Sit down once a month, generate AI-assisted copy for new products, menus, or customer testimonials, and bulk-schedule the entire month's content in one sitting. Use the Calendar view to ensure you have no awkward gaps in your posting rhythm.
